This seashell watercolor painting captures the beautiful African Turbo sea snail that lives in the tropical waters of South Africa.
The spiral pattern has lovely iridescent pearl designs on a burnt orange background. The spiral shape enlarges outward as the mollusk grows.
The same spiral pattern is repeated in nature & the galaxies.
The "golden spiral" is a mathematical logarithm explained by Fibonacci, where the spiral grows wider the further from its origin.
The spiral is symbolic of growth, progress, concentration & focus.
